HAL SR Engine buttons unresponsive?

Work though problem I guess.

Windows XP SP3
generic webcam[/mic]

I have an Ultra HAL ASSISTANT 6 and Microsoft Speech SDK 5.1 and [i think L&H Tru Voice pakage].

when problems happened i reinstalled

I can select a SR ENGINE. [Microsoft English Recognizer v5.1]

Nothing else.

Clicking on the buttons is unresponsive.
No vocab training etc.
