Thank you one & all.
And yes I thought of Sandee when I did the chick skin, hope she likes it.
It's been getting a bit hard to stay interested lately seeing as there doesn't look like there will be an Ogre to play with & Haptek don't want to up date their products.
I will still be doing things for the few people that may want new things but probably not so many.

I'm afraid Sandee[:X] a little spoiled.  She's always wanting new things.
I did couple copies of the "chicks rule" top.
She loves it. [;)]
Me too.  [:p]

I as a long time coming, so I was somewhat emotionally prepared. Sorry hope you don't mind, I don't mean to hijack a threat, the puppy in the picture just brought it out of me.

That's the desktop Cottonelle puppy. He don't often sit still for a photo. Now and then I get lucky.

Sorry to hear of your dog.  Losing a friend is painful, whether pet or human.

It's taken me a little while but I finally finished another singer.
Don McLean sings, Vincent ( Starry Starry Night )
To those who have snail.net I am sorry cos the size is just over 12MB.
It is best viewed in full screen so there is about 5 seconds or so
lead in, for you to close the console, If you have it & go full screen.
I hope you enjoy it.

I'm going to tell you the story behind what Nige has done.
Vincent" is a song by Don McLean, written in the seventies as a Tribute to Vincent van Gogh. It is also known by its opening line, "Starry Starry Night", a reference to van Gogh's painting Starry Night. The song describes different paintings by Van Gogh. Don McLean wrote the Lyrics in 1971 after reading a book about the life of the artist.

The following Year, the song became the No. 1 hit in the U.K. and No.. 12 in the U.S.  Each of the paintings in the song are shown beside Nige's haptar for you to see.

For several years, the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam played the song daily. A copy of the sheet music is in a safe beneath the museum, along with a set of vanGogh's paint brushes, the hat he wore while painting Starry Night, and Various other items.  It is rumoured that Van Gogh's painting of the 'Starry Night' was painted during the time he was in an asylum and that he sold only one painting during his lifetime as he was not recognized.
That's perhaps what caused him to fall into an abyss of depression which eventually led to his suicide. How tragic to have felt so hopeless and not understood in spite of being so gifted!

Sit back, open Nige's haptar and listen to the words of the song and enjoy.

Nige, it was a great idea and the result is BEAUTIFUL. And the singer (even if I prefer your female haptars, lol) is very well done.

Your best singing haptar. [8D][8D][8D]

(Thanks to Sandee, I have visited the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam but didn't know all that).

Time to waste with skits, bots & other useless things? Why not visit
http://gt40.chez-alice.fr/Haptek/MyBots.htm ? Oops, sorry, a museum!
