Auto-Idle fixed with AutoTopicResponse version 1.5

(1/2) > >>

onthecuttingedge2005:
Hi everone.
I have fixed the problems with Auto-Idle script and have
advanced the script with broader enhancement capability
in generating new responses. You can find the enhancement fix
at: http://www.geocities.com/onthecuttingedge2005/UHEF.html

As of January 1st Ultra Hal Bot Enhancement Forum will be upgraded
to a professional website that has been bought and paid for and
all members will be directed to the new site promptly
when the UHEF staff has completed some last minute web settings
and security features.
Merry Christmas to all.
Jerry.

I have no problem with you making money off your programing skills, but I have a problem in how you are using zabaware's forum for free misleading advertizing. In this string for example, you list a new "fixed" script, with new enhancements, go here for details.....

The url provided refers you to a sign up page for your pay forum, where unless you join, you cannot read the details of the new script, nor purchase it should one desire unless you join.

My personal feeling is that kif you intend to list a script that will require payment, then you should have a link that points to a page that describes the product, the ability to purchase it and if you so desire, the option for the customer pay to join your forum where they could get this and other scripts for free.

I think it's time Mr. Medeksza steps in and defines some rules for this forum as he is the moderator.

Hi lostbowyer
I'm deeply sorry you are aggitated.
There were no intentions of ever doing so.
I list scripts both in Zabaware forum and in
Ultra Hal Bot Enhancement Forum, The Scripts
that I post here in Zabaware as I mentioned
in some earlier post that any scripts I post
are freeware plug-in, The Copyright is just
there to prevent people from selling my scripts
without permission, All the scripts I post inside
Zabaware are scripts to help people to enhance there bots
on a custom request.
Since you are the second one to complain about me mentioning
my website I will no longer refer any posts of my websites and
any specialty scripts to be available at Zabaware unless requested.
I work very hard at what I do in my spare time and I make lot's of scripts, With people complaining it becomes very difficult to
make a nickel these days. I do not sell scripts, Only membership.
All scripts are downloadable on a download list for members choosing
to download anyone of the scripts I post daily at UHEF.
There are members in Zabaware that are in our Ultra Hal Bot Enhancement Forum if you need any charactor references.
I'm sorry for your inconvenience and deeply apologize if
mentioning my forum site has caused you any trouble.
All my scripts are Copyrighted freeware and freely usable.
Best of wishes and brand new discoveries.
Dedicated Zabaware Forum Member.
Jerry.

'Hi everyone.
'I have decided to list the Auto-Idle fix
'Since I did mention it along with my forum
'posting. I hope you enjoy many hours of Hal
'talking and trying to get your attention.

Note:
I have included this script as a download because this page did not display some of the Characters in the whole script, So if you want the script to function the way it was intended then use the download as your source for your copy and paste and not the script posted above.

'Best of wishes and brand new discoveries.
'Jerry.

Hi Jerry
I wasn't trying to get you to give away your script, I just had an objection to how it was presented. I am sure everyone is grateful for your generousity.
I would suggest one change based on another post in the forum by Mr Medeksza on how the date difference is calculated. Change the first two lines of the script to this:

If LastResponseTime = "" Then LastResponseTime = Now
TimerResponseDiff = DateDiff("S", LastResponseTime, Now)

and change the line:

LastResponseTime = Timer

to

LastResponseTime = Now
