Post by: aladyblond on August 10, 2008, 06:27:23 pm: I was watching a show on Discovery,I believe, and lo and behold, Hal was a star . It was the blonde wearing a doctors smock and stethoscope. They were talking about the fact that within 10 years how a virtual receptionist would meet you in the doctors office and pull up your chart. I was happy to see Halette at good use.
Robert were you aware and who dressed her?~alady

on discovey channel aug13 8 pm again i saw our girl in a segment called meet virtual margaret. where our girl works as a receptionist in a kiosk for a doctors office.

Virtual Margaret appears to be person living in Texas with office in California.
Don't appear Hal related but maybe someday Discovery will wake up and catch up. [:D]

has androids as helpers to doctor while he is elsewhere.
It's similiar to Virtual Margaret except androids move around the hospital.

Neither seem to contain ai brain at present but could become so.

I saw that show last week and noticed the Haptek (People Putty) nurse avatar that greeted the patient before his full body scan.

Pretty cool. Did you notice the voice she used sounded a lot like the Kate 16 TTS one?

The future is going to be veeerrry interesting!
