Notice the picture on my webpage, lol
And check out the links. The page is new and under construction, so I'll add more as I get ideas. (I got rid of my other webpages, had them for about 7 years)
Only the intro page is new, the links point to websites I've had awhile.

This is not spam!!! ;D
I put a link to this site on my page. (Hal do you do?)
Edit: Thanks Art for the website. I'll see what I can do with it. (I did not want to break 5000 posts yet) 8)

Looks like it gonna be a beauty.
And Laura makes pretty welcome lady.

Hey Mark,
Looking great, I went for a wander through.
Very interesting.
-
Thanks, Nige and Dusky. It don't give me the flexibility to use my own html, (the website builder, unless I pay $9.99 more a month, which I do not want to do)
I can upload a page with html if I ever get a chance to work on it, (I forgot a lot of stuff) and have the preview page point to it.

I love your tape recorders section, Mark.
So nice to see that someone here can be interested in something else than Hal. ;D
-
Looking very nice Mark!
-
Thanks, GT40 and Ted!! :D

mark we know it's not spam we know you wouldn't want to be in the spam wall of shame lol nice looking site !

Mark,
Looking good so far.
I recently came across an interesting site that allows one to construct a FLASH based (I think) site or something called WIX.
They allow for file transfers and even offer FREE Hosting!!
Check out:http://flashbuilder.net/
I did say it was FREE!!
Thoughts?

Thanks, Art, I bookmarked it. I am still trying to think of ideas for a website.
-
Nice to see you getting creative again Mark. Have fun and good luck with your site ;D
-
Thanks, Freddy.
Art, that is not too bad of a place to make a webpage, however, it seems small (from top to bottom)
Maybe I'll have to create more page to fit more stuff?

It seems this site lets me upload swf files larger than 5 mb. (I used a flv to swf converter to post this music video)
http://markofkane.homestead.com/My-Webpage.html
It's expensive, and I've had it since 2004, and I was thinking of canceling, but now not so sure.

Mark,
You love music, oldies, classic cars, jukeboxes, pretty girls, making videos / movies (how about some tips or demos on how you make or combine everything in order to produce a vid)? You could refer differect software, give personal reviews or video creation software, likes/dislikes, formats, etc.
Come on guy...get creative...festive...let it loose.
You could have a section for Sci-Fi...from then till now....
Same with music.
I'm just throwing some ideas your way...pick whatever floats your boat!!
Best!

Thanks, I am trying. My creative muse seems to be rusty after all this time, lol. ;D
-
Nothing that a good shot or two of WD-40 can't fix or maybe PDQ or PB-Blaster...you get it...the rust remover get things moving again spray!!
Sort of like that old commercial for Nyquil...for that stuffy head Ican't sleep why is the room spinning feeling!! ;D :o
Ideas will develop soon like a good roll of film!

Looks nice Mark
It'll be nice to see what awesome stuff you come with.
About time too ;)
-
Thanks all. Still am busy with other things, but I hope to get something done soon.
-
Mark, I know you have plenty of your own ideas but I was wondering if you may want in the future show your great collections of analog recorders but then step it up a notch and show how they have developed over the years to the first digital recorders like the F1 or Mitsubishi's first open real digital tape recorder with splicing capabilities.
My opinion but I don't think there are many people these days that really understand how we get from here to there, (I'm no exception but always willing to learn.) maybe it's not an interesting topic any longer. Sure helped me in learning how some things work and why as apposed to, "I just want to push the blue button and it works"!
Just thinking out loud.
Thanks,
raybe

Sounds interesting. I don't have a digital recorder, but my answering machine is like a digital recording device. :)
-
Yes you do have a digital recorder on your computer. It may not be much on it's own, but with other softwares and some thought you would be surprised what you can do with it. But you knew that. ;)
