Davy, I am sorry for not getting back to you on your other thread but I was very busy all weekend. But here is a second lesson to make you a putty champ in time. Some people use the hoods in putty to color the sides of the face, but you can get better results by coloring them yourself. Example:

http://cid-165b8b35c5dcc4ee.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/.Public/Pia.zip

Here is what I start with:

And then I open it in Microsoft Picture It, please email me for details at baker.jim45@yahoo.com and I will give more detailed discriptions.
After I open the image above I can copy and paste the wanted image onto the face. There is a tranparency tool in the Effects tab above to make the face see thru so that you can shape it over the image above. Then I use the Effects Tab to the left to go into Freehand painting. You can make this also transparent to get a good coloring going on. So just line up the photo and then color the edges to match the face color. It's just that easy. So email me for more details.

It was probably just a fluke. Especially if it hasn't happened again.
Computers are crazy, and so are we for continuing to use them. But I can't stop.

Sorry Davy, I noticed Lillie didn't have her tee-shirt included so here it is.

Now GT40, you better stop that.[:D] I see some potential in this Davy fella and I'm trying to give him some advice that could make him very good in the near future. It's not like I sold out or anything. I just changed my name and didn't want some people to know it for a while. But you know it now so please let me try to help this future putty head champion.[;)][^]

Davy, there is a way to alter the tee-shirts but not in People Putty. I have made some tee-shirt designs and Duskrider has made the hap files to get the tee-shirts to work. Here is some examples:

Those are a couple of designs that I did. To make them work you must go into C:/Program Files/Haptek/player/data/standard and create a folder named skins. This may sound hard but it really isn't. The princess shirt is the one that is the one you will need to use with the designs. Here are a couple designs to play with:

Put these in your "skins" folder that you made and use text files to make them work.

I believe that you can drag & drop the hap files. I don't have Hal so I don't know about that for sure.

But if you change the picture on the shirt or the color of the shirt just save it as a .jpg image and chnge the name of the .jpg image in the text file that you are using to make it work. Just play with it and if you have any questions just ask.
And you did very good on you last head, the color is good and the girl is hot!

I think that she looks good but....Davy I would like to see you use a little more color in the faces (except for the creatures) of the women and go black, white or a color tee-shirt that is in putty a little more on the shoulder creations, then you can still push the real shoulders under it like the examples below.

See I used the neck area like you have been but then shaped it a little into something that looks like the shoulders (neckwear putty shoulders) are an extention of the picture shoulders. More color in the face and play with shoulders. But you are doing very good so far.

You may have guessed this but I am going to remain bakersdozen. Real names aren't good, I've finally found this out. And just for the record, I deleted my posts and not Robert, but he did put one of them back to how it was before. So we are not going down the same road again. No more skins, I'll let Nige play with them, among others who are doing so nicely. I've got a lot on my plate from here on in so I will try to make an occational head here and there but my life has taken a very big and important spiritual turn so I need to devote a lot more time to that. I am glad to be back though, thanks guys.

I know I'm still a novice, but IMO you should also put a light border around the shirt collar and the shirt bottom. To do the shirt collar and sleeves, you would have to put a line (your Border) on the top sleeve area and raise and lower it to match it up with the neck collar area. Do you understand what I am saying? I'm not talking about the bottom line (Border) of the sleeve, I'm talking about the top. Only the top doesn't match up with the neck perfectly on this 3D model girl so you would have to play with it to get it to line up right. Very nice head and skin though.

Bill you got the booby prize. Oops, better just say prize, this is a family site.

Freddy nope, it was a face that I found on the net.

That's actually not what I was talking about getting busted, lightspeed, there was certain people who did complain about the thank yous and how much space we were taking up with our threads in the past, among other things. Do you remember? Anyway thank you all for your comments.

Here's just one instance:
don't want to rain on anyones parade but don't you guys and gals think that 31 pages of "Oh thats so good" is enough. You are filling up Mr.M. hard disk with to much dribble. I think is it nice that people are posting heads that can be used with Hal and if they can not then don't even take up the space. I also know that most of us really appreciate the work that goes into making a head but enough of all the useless complements. Do you know how many mega bytes of disk space you have already used? I think not.
Post a Head, Post a link if necessary but if you want to make comments about it then do it with email.
Grouchy old "name removed to protect the guilty"

All that other thread was doing was talking, so I came to the graphics area. I was playing around and I think I may be getting the hang of this stuff. I'm gonna call this one Delilah. And just in case anyone wants to complain about the size of this image, I linked it from my own skydrive storage space. I'm not using this forums resources.

I was able to download this by clicking on the link and then clicking the download link above the large icon. If it doesn't work let me know and I'll try to email it to you.

I liked him too, I was looking through spydaz's website and found it in Jack Gepharts male heads. I hope Jack don't care that I am posting his head again.
