Here is my goal.
I am trying to build a bot that lives on my wifes web site.
I would be happy with a text based interaction.
I have already accomplished this using AIMLbot.dll.
However!!!!!
Now i am looking at the aiml files. They are a nightmare to sort out or even figure out.
I want a bot that is like an old wise woman. kind of like a female merlin. or the willow tree in pocahontas. Maybe with a little magic eight ball thrown in. Or a little fortune teller or even female oracle. Something in there somewhere.
This is a fun project and would be a gift to my wife.
I dont mind paying something once for a set of aiml that comes close. I do not want to pay for a subscription service to host my bot. I want to hold the aiml sets in my hands. If i buy a web page bot flash swf file or whatever, i want to pay for it once and own it. (I'm thinking ASP.net and ajax to drive it!)
So far all i have found is subscription services or outrageous prices ($1000 for superbot). I have ALICE and that is a lot of data to edit especially if im not grasping the underlying structure and how it maps to the session.
So where do i begin?
1) any free aiml sets ot there close to what i want?
2) any other options other that AIML that i can own on my own page.
3) Any free flash bots that dont require any activex objects (other that flash) on the client side?
