ATT voices don't show up in TTS Reader (WinXP)
« on: May 30, 2015, 12:04:28 am »
Hi -- I have a Zabaware CD from 2009 that has both the Ultra Hal Text-To-Speech Reader and an AT&T Natural Voice (Mel).  I'm sure I was able to get this all working with the Mel voice on whatever computer I had at the time (Windows XP, I'm pretty sure).  Now I'm installing this on a different Windows XP computer, and the only voice that shows up in the drop-down box of the Ultra-Hal Reader is "Microsoft Sam".  Does anyone know how I can get Mel in there?

Note:  This same question was asked by Jander65 in 2010 but got no serious response.

It seems to me we paid a good price for this CD, and I'd rather not buy anything newer, especially since this CD should be contemporary with the computer I'm trying to install it on.

Thanks for any possible help! -- Marty

Does it show up it your Haptek player or are you just using as separate program without UltraHal ?
