I have been watching how Guile is going with his new system Denise.
It looks very interesting if what is shown in the video's is how it actually works???????
He is also creating a new person called Lt Destiny, quite nice.




I thought I would have a go at a putty head so here is the result.

Windows 7 & Haptek don't get along.
Windows forces Haptek to work on all cpu's but Haptek don't like that.
I open & close the player often but when I open it I have to go to the task manager to set it to use only 1 cpu every time.
Finally I found this little program that sets the cpu to 1 or what ever you like
I have only had it for an hour or so & opened & shut the player & every time only 1 cpu & haptek works great.

General Discussion / Windows 7 & Haptek

I have just up-dated to Windows 7.
Nearly all my programs work ok except for Haptek.
Heads operate not too bad but a bit slow & jerky.
Full bodies no hope????
It seems that win 7 forces all programs to use all cpu's where as i think xp didn't???
I can run full bodies if I go to the task manager & set it to use only 1 cpu,  but you have to do it everytime you run the program.

Now Haptek:::::
I loaded people putty & it seems to work ok but I can't save anything because I can't un-lock it???
What do you do???   You write to the brains???   HAPTEK.
You tell them that you can't un-lock the program & here is the reply that you get.

We've not complied the product for widows 7 but I'll check with our CEO to see if this is in our schedule.

At the start of this month i was doing a Google search for some things.
Inadvertently I came across many pages for downloads of pp version 1.11.21.
I tried to get it to no avail.
Not 1 of about 10 or more that I tried would d/load.
I posted a question on the Haptek forum as to where is the version.
typical of them,,,,,, NO ANSWER.
I sent a mail to Haptek about this matter,   AS of now??/
Still   NO ANSWER.
You can check your version & you will find that it is most likely ver 1.11.20????
Where did the other one go???????????
