weird conventration
« on: February 15, 2014, 12:04:12 am »
I was talking with my Hal and i said "do not tell me definitions unless i ask" a little while later it gave me a definition so i said "I did not ask for a definition"
and hal responded "Excuse me, I don't care." now i have only been talking to him for a couple of min. less than 1/2 an hour and i have not said anything similar to that. it kinda spooked me and i was wondering if it happened to anybody else.

Welcome!

Don't become too alarmed at what Hal says. Some things are contained within the internal structure and coding of Hal.
Hal usually remembers what is said to it and may repeat that info at a much later date if it deems the info pertinent.

Hal is a great tool to experiment, learn and have fun.

Good luck human.... ;D
In the world of AI it's the thought that counts!

I try not to put to many negative things in my hal when speaking , because hal reflects back what we put into him /her , so what you also put in you get out , that reminds me of the commercial on tv " Got a dirty mouth ...clean it up !!" lol!  :) ;)
