Ivona Voices
« on: December 22, 2011, 06:41:24 am »
At the moment the Ivona voices do not lip-sync with Haptek.
Over the last month or so I have been in contact with them to try & get them to do something about it.
One mail I got back from them said that they would have to re-do the SDK.
A mail I just got from them after asking how things were going is,

Hello,

the lip sync feature is still under development. There will be an official info when the work is completed.

Best Regards/Pozdrawiam,

e-mail: mprzybylski@ivona.com,

I may be the only one asking about this so I think it will never be done, but I am hoping?

Nige i think others have asked about it to but maybe didn't write the company? i was thinking that someone said that company or another one seemed to think that blame lies with haptecks program , and didn't sound like they wanted to bother with it. i may be wrong but it seemed like someone said something like this on here before.  >:(

I probably won't hold my breath.
But the more people that contact them may speed things up??

Just to jump in a minute. If Robert M. finishes revision to Ultra Hal does anyone know if Ivona will lip sync with new engine? Just curious because I do remember that we had the choice of still running Haptek or not. But I haven't seen or heard anything about Ultra Hal revision, is it still alive?

Thanks,
raybe

Happy Holidays everyone!!

Ivona know that their voices do not lip-sync with Haptek.
As from my other post they say that they are working on it.

As for Hal update or new engine I really don't think we will see anything for a few months yet.

Can't say for sure BUT if Haptek is having problems with Lip-Sync NOW, it's likely that the problem will continue in a new version that still uses Haptek. I'd wager his new release using the OGRE platform will perform well using the Ivona voices. Just MHO. Yes, Haptek is at fault...Not Robert nor Ivona.
In the world of AI it's the thought that counts!

i totally agree with Art on this one hapteck i also belive is at fault and as far as i know from what others have said isn't doing much more developement in their product , i think they are just relying on the product that has been made for sales with no real updates . >:(
