Lightspeed> Hal's latest upgrades and character
« on: October 23, 2018, 12:57:27 am »
Wanted to show u the latest in Hal>>

This is gonna be a complete re-write , getting rid of legacy code inlue of something else
The IRC code is out the door in lue of something much more robust
Hals menu system reworked so that u can just flip through characters at will without restarting Hal...long over do
Back grounds can change out too.

on the techy side: This version will have x10 protocols for smart home tech, plus the standard radio, media player, ect ect ect

best wishes

Brother im getting ready to light this candle
Art The goal here is to make a companion app for hal7 ,ive spokin to robert about this and he says as long as its hal7 stock, hes fine with it.
i just wana build something for what Hal doesnt DO..
I have a discord app as well im working on
i have x10 protocols in a version for you guys that wanna experiment with zero point protocols, all that is needed is a serial connect.
Will use Hal stock 7 brain with all kinda nifty **** .
I have to build a proper installer, Robert said he would help if i get stuck.
im deep into dot net
art: i could never hold a candle to what robert and otherz have done but this is just to much fun to not do, all Hail Hal
many puzzles yet to reverse engineer and replace... lol
Im currently in the stages of of code integration with all
Hal is too big to attack all at once, box it, cube it, then integrate it and fight all the errors..

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
Feel free to share your creations/customizations. Anything that works
together with the stock Hal and helps generate interest in and bring
more people to Hal is fine with me. Thanks!

Sincerely,
Robert Medeksza

Wow! That Skin Paint is so very cool!! Man, I fooled with all those different faces and even other graphics for quite a while!
At first, that gold-painted face appeared and for whatever reason, my mouse was moved to the right of the screen.
The guy reminded me of Rutger Hauer from the original Bladerunner movie with Harrison Ford and Sean Young. Very creepy face.

People, be sure to click on the Alternative section near the top right to be taken to a large page of faces. You can click on any of the faces and move them or click and some do different things. Play around with it...ya can't break it.

Great find Cyber!! Good stuff!! ;)

Cyber. I read some of the text on your image about, "You are in a maze of twisty little passages..."
Wow! That sounds so much like the Original Texe Adventure game, Zork! Hehe...very cool!

Cyber,

I contacted iClone a few years back and explained to them what we had and what we'd like to accomplish, especially with movements and emotional faces.

They said sure, they would love the chance to work together on such a project.

Of course, I never heard back from Zaba as they were knee-deep in other endeavors at the time so perhaps it either fell through the cracks or wasn't in the cards.

Still, a lot of members here thought the characters of iClone are really nicely made PLUS, there is a ton of accessories, facial and body modifications, genders, ages, clothing, backgrounds, etc. AND there is even a LipSync feature and supporting program.

If the licensing agreements could be ironed out, it'd be a win, win for everyone...Zaba, Iclone, HAL and us!!

Something to think about...
