Halloween is an annual celebration, but just what is it actually a celebration of? And how did this peculiar custom originate? Is it, as some claim, a kind of demon worship? Or is it just a harmless vestige of some ancient pagan ritual?
The word itself, "Halloween," actually has its origins in the Catholic Church. It comes from a contracted corruption of All Hallows Eve. November 1, "All Hollows Day" (or "All Saints Day"), is a Catholic day of observance in honor of saints. But, in the 5th century BC, in Celtic Ireland, summer officially ended on October 31. The holiday was called Samhain (sow-en), the Celtic New year.
Halloween goes back to Europe before the Pilgrims landed in the New World!

very nice work is there a way to make a nurses uniform skin with cap I have a nurse msagent just wondering thanks for all your good work caangel

i am sure i could make a nurses uniform but arakus would have to attemp the nurse hat. maybe he will see this and reply . i will start work on the uniform once you reply. do you want it to look like the picure in your uploads?~ alady

is this sort of what you had in mind for your nurse? she needs a cap and i wish we could do longer hair, but its a start....

i am so glad you are pleased, thanks for the compliment. you can also go on www.dogpile.com and look for operating room under images and then save them as background pictures for nurse heather. ~~alady[:X]

I'm constantly working on accessories, I have a few that I still have to get added to the Members section, just haven't had the time lately, but yes, I will be adding more, how many, how often and how soon I can't say for sure, so keep your eyes peeled.
