CAAngel,
I do not know you but you seem to be a nice person, I have parts if your old computer could be fixed.

If that would work let me know[:)]

OMG!

Lets make this easier, you have a case and memory, the rest fried all at once?

I am looking at a AMD Athlon  #27291 , I think this was a fairly good speed, Ill look for MB on friday, I need to know the specs on your memory so I can try to match freq. Its probably , PC2100 DDR SDRAM or faster.  if I get a chance I'll look up the processor and see what FSB will match up but I do need the memory specs,,,OH yea you have all the cabling and HDD, Hmm ... I just dug up a 450WATT power supply so there is a lot out of the way ,,, I have a lot of heat syncs+fan it will depend on the board now.
Get back with me on the memory.......

J.
