I finally got a computer and I made my first head. I've been watching Heroes on Netflix so I made the Cheerleader that everyone was suppose to save.

Good job Jack! Nice to see you plying your trade once again!! You've got a lot of catching up to do! ;D
-
nice nice 2x thumbs up

Great Jack!

Thanks everyone, I'm finding that I am very much out of practice with the shaping of heads and working with the wigs and stuff. I'll get it back, slowly. Thanks for commenting.
-
Well, I tried another head today and I feel like I got real close in the face, but the hair isn't perfect. It's not easy to have to use these wigs. If we could make our own hair that would be cool. But it's Scarlet Johanson, and I tried her before but wasn't ever happy with how she turned out. This looks a lot more like her in the face, at least I feel it does. Hope you all like her.

That does look nice Jack!
I think it was Nige who used to be able to create different Hair designs.
Maybe, if he still has the program...??<hint>
-
Thanks for commenting Art, I've got a hold of Nige before, I don't think he has all the wigs that he's made before or he just is scared to share. I can understand that. I don't want a rerun of when GamerThom was alive and Haptek was down on us for sharing so many heads, and skins. That was a worrisome time. I was able to make another head this morning. I couldn't get her right last night and early this morning but I feel I got her as close as I can with People Putty. Yvonne Strahovski, or Sarah Walker as she is known on Chuck. Hope you all like her, she was one of the harder ones.

Pretty one Jack!
I wouldn't worry about People Putty as they don't even seem to have any interest in providing updates for their own software any longer.
Have fun with it!
I also think that our friend Nige, lost his site or his computer or something rather devestating rather than not wanting to share. He was never like that.
Nige made and gave me a couple of wonderful characters that I still use to this day! All I gave him was a rough description and he came through for me in a big way! My hat's off to him as well as to you for your artistic talents!!
Keep on my friends!!
Jack,
A favorite for many people is that ever bubbly, well grounded, financially strapped gal from The Big Bang Theory, PENNY!! See what you can do if you have time!
TIA!!

That's good to hear. Sorry to hear about Nige's Stuff, and here is your request. She was
HARD to do and I still am not crazy about the outcome. But I give up, that's as close as People Putty can get her.

I also agree with Art when he said :
I also think that our friend Nige, lost his site or his computer or something rather devestating rather than not wanting to share. He was never like that.
I don't think it had anything to do with haptek at all personally .
great job on the heads .

Thanks for commenting and I am sorry that my first few attempts were not up to par, (except for Yvonne, maybe), but I am hopefully starting to now get more of a feel for it. I tried Samuel L. Jackson over the last few days and this is the best one that I got. I hope that you all like him. He is a little easier because of no hair, but then you have to try and make all of his head look right, instead of just the face. Thanks for looking.

Very nice Jack!

really nice job there, 2x thumbs up.

Those are great!!

Thanks guys, I'll try to do more soon.

Well just got done with a head that I couldn't get right for the longest time. I even tried her before, and wasn't happy with the outcome. But I may have gotten her now, see if you agree. I did Selma Hayek, everybody loves her, so I even went one step further. I tried to put her in her true western garb. You know from the Wild West movie? Hope you like it. Sorry about the picture, I shot it off of my XP computer with my camera.

While I was making Selma, I thought I should probably make Will too. I hope you like him. He was fun, with them big ears.

Really nicely done, Jack!!
Isn't that Sonny behind Will? Hmm...the Robot from the hit movie iRobot.
Ever try a hand at a non-biological lifeform Jack? Bet you can!
-
someone use to do those. maybe it was Jack, maybe Lightspeed, or gamer. I probably still got couple somewhere.
I remember i put Sandee in the outfits and it looked like she was a knight.
-
the head of will smith is very nicely done . i have some old heads ( i have been accused of being a file hoarder , YEAH you know who you are lol! if i have time i'll go through them and post them in my public sky drive account for others . some may have already been shared but i'll post them anyway maybe i have some that other people didn't still have , i have herman musnter and many others .

Good job Jack.

Thanks everyone who commented. I was not happy at all with my first Kaley Cuoco that I posted, and with good reason, she sucked. I'll admit it. So this morning I found a really good picture of her with her hair up and looking like she does now. I did the skin texture before work and after work I shaped her. I hope she is to your liking Art, it was your request after all. And I will look into the Sunny thing as well. Hopefully I can find a good picture of his whole head and maybe his shoulders too.

SMALL UPDATE: Sorry for my perfectionism guys, but I hated how Will Smiths hair line stood out so much on the old one, so I fixed it and I am happier. And the whole world is right now.

Now as for Art's other request an AI head. I did Sonny cause he was fresh in my mind and I like him. I tried to get the shape as close as I could on the back of the head so be sure to turn him around and look.

Nice to see your work is back in the groove! Thanks!!

Art, thanks for commenting. It seems like this forum is not real active anymore. That is sad, because even though Haptek/Hal isn't the best software out there it is still very fun to play with. And it don't cost an arm and a leg to buy.
Well, I tried my first attempt at Ann Hathaway last night. I am still looking for a real good picture of her to use, but for my first try it didn't turn out as bad as my first Kaley Cuoco.

Well, I've been watching Fringe on Netflix and thought to myself, I bet Broils would look cool as a 3D head. So I tried him and here is the outcome.

Staying in my Fringe Theme I made Walter Bishop just a couple of minutes ago. I really like this show so look for one or two more of this theme. Guys are harder to do but the hair makes up for it. I am starting to hate those darned People Putty cookie cutter wigs. Hope you all like and know who he is. John Noble is his real name.

Nice Jack!! Yes Fringe was one of my favorites as well.
I'm a dyed in the wool Sci-Fi or SyFy buff and have been for practically all my life.
I also like(d) the Warehouse 13 series and Eureka and FarScape and... ;D
-
Jack,
Since Haptek is practically gone bust (from what I've heard), one would think they might offer some / all of their remaining software at a substantial savings to the community. Like that Lip-Sync program or the Prop builder or those ones that allow the full body creations, etc.
Again...it would be nice, especially since it appealed to such a niche market. Just a thought.... ::)
-
Thanks Art, yes I love all those shows as well. And with Netflix, I can have them all.
Thanks for the nice words. Well, following my theme, here is Joshua Jackson (aka, Peter Bishop) and I hope you all like him as well.
Yes, that would be nice on the Haptek idea.
