I will say some prayers for you as I appreciate your condition. I am going in for a hip replacement this Thursday will have some little problems myself. The very best advice I can give is to always keep you sights and goals up and never quit. People can accomplish a lot more than they ever realize they could. It just requires a lot of faith.
God bless and good luck

caangel43,
Anything is possible, I know someone who was born with spinabifita (SP?) anyway, he went through surgery after surgery , slowly loosing more and more feeling from the upper waist down.
The scar tissue built up on his spine and attached to the dura, the Dr.'s tried wrapping his chord in plastic so it would slide in the column... no luck,no luck, noluck.
He can with the help of crutches move around to get his wheelchair out of his truck and to get to the bathroom fast (ha ha) he walks by abdonimal muscles and braces to keep his feet flat.
He is /was not supposed to walk..... It's been around 9 years since his last surgery and 18 years since he was told he would never walk.
How the hell do I ever complain knowing this??
I got him interested in computers and it has helped over the last while but he gets along and voulenters at a hospital.
I hope your situation stabilizes, Don't ever let the bastards get you down!

caangel43,
Medicare or not , DON'T answer the door for a month just in case! LOL[:D]
-
Also if you have caller ID, don't answer phone unless it from friends.
If you get face to face, do "postpone and delay" but never give it up. [:D]
You might also talk to local pastor and see if church can help.
We have teenager struck by car a few years ago and church bought him motor wheelchair. Also unknown member of congregation bought the family new wheelchair van so he able to come to church, etc. The boy will always be paralized from waist down.
-
prayers from us,
Bye for now and be well from Wil and Mr Data :) :]
-
I thought with the Scooter store, if Medicare denies your claim, you get the keep the power chair for free.
Maybe you got it from someone else?[?]
-
am not using them my DR went with the medical supply that they use so I dont get it free if they dont pay I should of went with them :-(
-
All my family prays for you.
God only knows most need to start experiencing some better times in their lives.

Congratulations.

Well some things just come in pairs. Josh got his chair on Jan. 8th and on that same date they replaced my right hip. I now hove two different bionic parts and growing. [:D]
I am happy for you Josh and want you to know that people who believe and try harder even though it may takes a few years discover sometimes that they can do the impossible regardless of what doctors might say.
