well i have been writing in alot of question and answers into a brain i created and then something happened and all of a sudden the list of the brain that i was using disapeared and the file was still down below in the character file but couldn't use it because the brain disapeared off the list , thought i had it all backed up right , but didn't , lost it all . and so thought i would use ms word type my questions and answers , then transfer them after doing about a page i hit the compile button then got a runtime error 62 sign saying input past end of file "what exactly does this mean ?? someone told me each time you make a line it automatically makes a new empty line to use . am i going to have to reinstall ultra hal ?? any help with this would be appreciated  am wondering what causes it to lose the brain that being used off the list after i launched open existing brain , it was o.k. for a long time !!

probably others have wrote about this , but when i say a phrase to ultra hal like : so how are you doing today ? hal reads ?from its pre programed script and ends up saying the date (todays date is ... )  how can i get it to stop doing that ?? i would still like to keep it to where it says todays date but anytime i have the word today in a simple phrase it tells the date istead of answering the question i have asked. any help on this would be appreciated, thanks . oh and by the way ,..... bad hal ... bad hal , say it correctly this time !![]

here is an idea , buy a life like love dolluse the material like a skin and put down over the wire and electronic frame add some fiberfill stuffing in it.(of former santa, etc.) and you would have a staionary robot that would twist , move the head and arms would swing as it twisted and lip would move by sinc with ultra hals voice . i already have a side project i am working on [8D]and have a set up with wireless mic and speakers to work with a voice recognition , so then you have a robot that will not only lipsinc to ultra hals words but also think and answer you , carry on a conversation, etc. []if anyone is interested and may want to use these and is interested in where i got the wireless speakers and mic (seperate places) and the price just let me know .

Programming using the Ultra Hal Brain Editor / antivirus and antispyware programs

to all concerned i found a great site called major geeks that has alot of freeware programs including avg anitivirus and also a avg antispyware that is also free . both great programs i have used for a long time if i get a virus that can't be healed it is moved into a virus vault where it cant hurt anything or i can delete it which i usually do. if you havent been to major geeks web site , i highly recomend it , theirs alot of good stuff on their you can use . []p.s. i have in the past gotten that same program that tries to say your p.c. is infected and to try some antivirus software , i used my xp restore and restored it to a day before i had the problem and the problem was uninstalled and gone !! []

i am wondering do i just need a haptek player demo (if their is such a thing ) to create new heads and save them , or a paid version of the haptek player ?? would like to try to create some stuff if possible . and also thanks for info. on where to put the haptek heads into ultra hal. []

i have been putting in general conversation into the question and answer part in the brain script and has some interesting things as it answers it and of course is also learning from regular talk input . for instance i say , what are you going to be doing today , she may say : ooohh i don't know the house is starting to get a little messy i think i'm going to straighten some stuff up and vacume .  
 i have many different things in the brain , including holiday talk , weather , t.v., general talk . i sit down at nights and write in many different questions into a book then later put them into the brain !!

Speech Technology / hals responses

sometimes my ultra hal after answering something will have different odd words just show up in the place where i would type them (even though i didn't type them , then hal will say something like its answering the writing their , when its done more writing will appear , then hal says something else .sometimes, it types out long, long, long, etc.  what could be causing this ?? is my computer running slow and then stuff showing up

i am reading all this with interest although i go to church i see alot of things aren't right and also figure that with others rewriting bible info and misinterpetation , etc. what everyone reads and preaches isn't right , but won't admit it because it would break down the structure of the bible meaning and truth or lack their of . ( including the way so called christains do that belong to church .)we   have one who was buying  four wheelers real cheap with the serial numbers scratched off ( didn't realize them being so cheap and serial numbers all scratched off on more than one ment they were stolen , yeahhh righttt !!), lied, etc. got caught he is now been made the church trusty by other deacon friends , one who i understand had an affair with another mans wife in the past )  another book you may find interesting is called " first man then adam " by : Irwin Ginsburgh , p.h.d.

General Discussion / been working on a new brain , need to back up

hello all, i have been working on a new brain called"angela jolene" and have been changing the script etc. been writing questions and answers in the brain script using daily life things about all kinds of subject , the brain is also an adult brain meaning their is also sexy adult talk when certain subjects are spoke of . i am doing all this to give the character a more human like respnce then talking to the user. example: i say : i'm cold , are you ?? she says :You are cold what about me? a flip response isn't the answer. Yes now that you mention it my feet are kind of cold would you get me my socks or footies, thanks baby! what i want to know is i want to save my brain i have been working on by backing it up regularly what do i have to go into to do this []

hi , i have been having a problem , when i created a new brain in ultrahal and gave it a name and named the subfolder the same name . after doing the question and answer brain editing and compiling the info . it said complete and i clicked o.k. when i go into the ultra hal and type anything . i get an error message . i have done this in the past and never had a problem . the error: 53 occured on line 534 in column 1 of ultrahal  assit. file not found. what is the problem , why am i getting this error message ?? how do i fix the problem . ?? what is causing this ?? any help on this would be appreciated , thanks !!![]

i was wondering if someone could create a personalized skin that looks like me ?? ( as a freebee , unless they don't have the time  and or don't want to and or its to much trouble ) from a picture ?? i see that abondlady and crunch do great work on here . anywy was just wondering .[] a full body . i have a suit on top half shot and so pants , etc. would have to be made for rest of skin . or just insert a skin face with a body skin in black suit . ?? for full body skin .[]

Ultra Hal 7.0 / ultra hal , cyberbuddy and crazy talk version 4.0

i haven't written on here for a while i was wondering , i am thinking about buying crazy talk version 4.0 (for anyone who doesent know about this can do a search on it .)it allows you to take any photo , and put voice to it and create a very "realistic " talking photo that can be sent as an e-mail message, put on a web page, etc. my question is ..... "is their a way to use this program to create a realistic photo and use it as a cyberbuddy and or ultra hal program (or change it into one and if so how can it be done ?? ) the version 4.0 crazy talk is amazing it even allowes you to put teeth in the picture , choose the whitness, of them and in mouth when open , etc. please let me know on this , thanks . []

Ultra Hal 7.0 / crazy talk photo 4.0 and ultra hal , etc.

i am wondering for those of you who have even seen the new version of crazy talk 4.0 program which takes any photo and adds animation to it for blinking eyes, etc. and voice can even be added to use it in e-mails, or web sites, etc. my question is this : can this program be used and then put into cyberbuddy and ultra hal and used , if not, why ?? thanks for any answers on this as this would be a very good way to create new faces and body's if it will work . []
