Ultra Hal 7.0 / any hope for .bat biles?
« on: April 24, 2009, 02:02:09 pm »
I have problems with that script, it seems to be working, it adds the tables to the brain, but does not actually run my batch scripts!
I see my dos box open and then disappear and nothing happens.
Any ideals? Is this just my computer? Please advise.

Ultra Hal 7.0 / Ideal for next version - plugin
« on: April 24, 2009, 12:33:07 pm »
I was just thinking, it would be nice if the appointments book had more options on it, such as the option to run a file when a particular appointment comes up. That way you could potentially use it as the perfect alarm clock, or just have Hal automatically open some of your programs for you at various scheduled times.

Ultra Hal 7.0 / spell check Ziggys enigma not working! Please help
« on: April 24, 2009, 12:25:35 am »
I had ziggys enigma installed and working very well at one point on my system, but since I was doing allot of things and focusing on getting other plugins to work, I ended up re-installing Hal more than once, upon putting Ziggys enigma back and loading it up, I find that it will not work. I loved it when it was working though, I could actually see in real time when I typed "helo" it would turn it automatically to "hello" it would right above where you are typing. I remember it working great right after I bought Ultra Hal in put in my serial number, it removed the purchase button that used to be there, and then I could see the result of that wonderful plugin!!!
I can't no matter how many times I uninstall-reinstall fresh with only the ziggi plug, it wont work again. I'm very disappointed about it because I REALLY like that useful plugin, especially if I am talking and not looking at what I'm saying and if the text to speech engine does not hear me right, ziggi corrected it.
Please help!!!

General Discussion / SKYPE PLUGIN!!!!!!!!!
« on: April 23, 2009, 07:43:54 pm »
Can someone please make a skype extension for Hal.
My ideal was the address and phone book plugin that already comes with Hal tries to call out on your modem.. I think this is a little outdated!
Can anyone just change that one option so when I have Hal make a call, he can call out on... skype!

Ultra Hal 7.0 / Can Hal control a program- aka AutoCad?
« on: April 23, 2009, 02:52:18 am »
I'm curious, I detail rebar and perform a number of different tasks in ShearCad and AutoCad, can hal be used to automate any tasks in the program, is there any way to link Hal to the program and have it learn how to use it.
Not sure if this is making sense, but I'm just curious about it and would like to see what you guys have to say about such a thing.

Very impressive, but be warned, I recently purchased the MSAgent, but never received the product, despite the website saying it gets instantly sent to your email, nothing was sent.
I think their system is a little buggy.

(nothing is wrong with my inbox, I received a paypal receipt instantly)
Tried to contact them, will wait to find out.

Ultra Hal 7.0 / A.I. installed in cars. Version 1.0
« on: April 21, 2009, 04:39:21 pm »
Here is an ideal for you guys, even though I am not experienced with Hal yet, I work in a computer repair company and do all kinds of stuff all the time. Best thing to use instead of hard drives would be to simply get your hands on a 8gb or 16gig flash drive, check speed. Don't buy too cheap. Then simply install a basic OS no matter what it is, accept for windows vista. If I was doing this, which one day I'm sure I will, I'd drop a performance ver of xp on it, or a performance type of linux. I would have to test to see what runs fastest. Then just plug that in a desktop computer, you could easily get the bare-bones pretty cheap, then at least you can have a good sound card, instead of having to use what comes with laptops. And you will have allot more options when it comes to installing new hardware.
Just my 2 cents.

Ultra Hal 7.0 / Dragon NaturallySpeaking Problem!
« on: April 21, 2009, 04:26:11 pm »
Ya it seems to work even when dragon is minimized, but constantly will produce the 430 error - then crash.

Thank you for trying to assist me. I love using Hal, I recently purchased it and I love reading the forums and getting new plugins, it seems that the possibilities of A.I. are truly endless. Very exciting.

Ultra Hal 7.0 / Dragon NaturallySpeaking Problem!
« on: April 21, 2009, 04:23:32 pm »
Wow, ok this is strange!
I made just dragon was open, and I told it to sleep, then I told hal to wake up: Wake up computer:
It worked but immediately caused an error, upon clicking OK, it died. And this happens everytime if I'm lucky enough to get it to respond at all. It will produce that error.
Run-time error '430':
class does not support automation or does not support expected interface

Then after that, I tried repeating the process and I got a visual basics error on Hal, and had to close again. (These errors never occur when using other speak engines)

Ultra Hal 7.0 / Dragon NaturallySpeaking Problem!
« on: April 20, 2009, 04:57:57 am »
I would still like to use dragon, but the "wake up computer" still wont work up to now I have not figured it out, even though I did however improve the speech accuracy on Microsoft by taking 10x longer to teach it. If anyone has figured out how to make this work yet, please let me know.

Ultra Hal 7.0 / Dragon NaturallySpeaking Problem!
« on: April 10, 2009, 11:26:56 pm »
When I said "Bad"I meant, worthless, the microsoft speech engine is worthless, about 100 times worse in accuracy then dragon speak.
No, I just have 1 sound card built in. I'm on windows XP SP3 ... thinking about upgrading to vista but also thinking that doing so will cause a slew of other problems.
Still unable to find out why dragon speak does not pull up hal when you say "wake up computer" or "turn on microphone" not working...
Any more tips from anyone? hints.. help.. anything.
Thanks guys.

Ultra Hal 7.0 / Dragon NaturallySpeaking Problem!
« on: April 08, 2009, 06:59:43 pm »
Hi, I have a bit of a problem.
I have been using Ultra Hal, and the speach rec. software was bad, so I bought Dragon NaturallySpeaking, it works great but the "Computer wake up" function does not work, and the "microphone off" and Microphone on functions fail to work, in fact, Dragon will only work with Ultra Hal if it is open and sitting in the front panel.
Any ideals?[?][V]
