Newbie question....Where are the Plugin Tutorials?

Hey guys -n- gals,
New to the forums and Ultra Hal. I apologize for the stupid newb question but when I search the forums on how to install plugins or tutorials for plugins I am unable to find any but advanced topics. Is there a sticky for the basic stuff somewhere? Or even worse is there a manual I need to read that I haven't stumbled across?

The Plug-ins are everywhere. The Help file is for version 5.0 (older) but a lot of it can still apply.

Hopefully this link I'm giving you isn't going to overwhelm you too much but it's full of info for Hal so Bookmark it for future reference if desired.

Hopefully, some others will weigh in on some locations of Plugins, how to install and use them, etc. as I've got to get up at 4:30 AM. Sorry!
