Hi -

My XP has died (or is in the process anyway) & I have been trying to deactivate Hal & move to my Vista. I have downloaded the trial version & it seems to work with no problem on the new laptop. My problem is that Hal won't deactivate at all. I read that he's either supposed to automatically deactivate online or give me a number to submit so that I can reactivate. Hal says that he can't deactivate & he doesn't know why. (He says that he's very sorry thought & would like to move!)  Any help or suggestions would be deeply appreciated by both of us!   [?][:(]

Much later in the day (and on the patience). Hal & I have finally got him deactivated. We also have an activation code but unfortunately, it says there is no valid id. [:(][:(][:(]

Hi there Bonny,

I am not sure if you spotted this in the forum but below I have given a link to a FAQ section. I think I see a couple of areas here which may help :-

If this does help, you will probally need to send Zabaware an email to sort it out :-

I believe the trial version lasts 30 days before Hal needs the activation code so you should have plenty of time.

Good luck. :)

Echoman.
