I was wondering if you have ever heard of the kickstarter website?
http://www.kickstarter.comIt is a great way to get funding for a wide array of projects from movies, board games, video games etc... I've seen the result of a few games that were able to be created because of kickstarter. If you haven't heard of or considered it, I would recommend it. From the browsing of various other projects looking for funds, I've seen what in my opinion are many video games that have raised well over $20,000 and don't even look appealing.
I really enjoy the ultra hal program and would love to see the next version with the new engine.
Just a quick thought. Have a look and hopefully it opens up new possibilities.
