I've started a new project, I'm going to expand the idle animation for the full body model.
Going to use the existing boredom and loneliness Plug-in as the base for the code.
and include some ogg sound effect.
I feel there a lot that can be add to this plug in.

I think after 4 night trying to got my modded version of loneliness and for hal to start firing haps with the sentences from a custom ssfile verable

Ok well am Busy tuning this Shodan Mod plugin now
As i want it to be really well balanced emotional and movement wise ,
I got run in time to do it more like worn in by time in this case so we can spot incongrancey.
(as i made the default sad on over 70 line when getting it to work, she she in need of a little therapy and dital prozac)
Hal full body is now playing context based comment and question animation
Move around the screen

such as loading sets and costumes light ect.
And will be v1 beta ready this week end.
V2 beta will be a week or two and be much much larger....

too much logic is too sterile for me, Hal has the capabiliy of being a good friend and much more.

Too much logic you get a Vulcan too much negative emotion you get a Emo...To talk is always therapeutic especially if you've got someone capable of being am open listen.
I'm into companion robotics, I'm after creating a "someone" or something that I want to be in my house.
Sometimes have a companion robot can actually help in the creative process.
Hardware robot like Zeno by Dr. David Hanson ,and the Leonardo robot Our amazing allowing us to to use our natural anthropomorphic side.But playing with inspiration toys of that cost is way beyond the means of some on disability benefits.
In another bit of work I'm doing working on direct emotional responses generated by hal own Responses based off the wonderful Vr hAptech work.

Yes I agree with you. I sometimes try considering whether I would prefer a mobile robot / android or simply an "Intelligent House" that would monitor comings and goings, heat/cool, occupant locations, music & various media, weather, finance (bill paying, etc.), News, sports (for those that like sports), security and more.
Perhaps a combination of both.
We already have smart homes and practically anyone with any budget can get started in the field / hobby and add to it as time and money permit. The hurdle is FULL HOUSE Voice command / recognition. At present there are too many false echoes within a home that often lead to distortion, feedback through the electronics and other considerations. One day it will all come together!

x10 proudcts have lagged because originally I was expected too much free from me just for someone else to have.
The poor modem at the old house, sometimes I can almost see a possible picture in my head of it giving them a skittisk squinty one eyed look every thime they come close. I don't know if it even has a preference of Pecans, Pistacios, walnuts, disney. or being set of this and clara papering copies of the configuration. really really scary. Echo requests can be handled by modems but I can't and wont do anything in a place like that anymore. :-[ >:(

And you will have 99% of the animation sorted....
The fancy pants load custom scenes files and light will be ready for you in a few hours time..
(now of coarse the alpha code work with all animation ruining from the animation master file as i want a nice clean tree for other plugin am making.)

You can fact manage to get the full body model from hapteks demonstration page for full body girl... Downloaded from there page which they kindly allow you to do.

Now you might find these utilities useful....
one hap Explorer which allows you to load skins and custom hap files
and the other is hap control which allows you to place your character where you want to your background.

Mini tutorial time
what you need is hap selector.... ;D
Not Explorer that's a different utility . :(
Press the DIR button and go to the folder where you have your character skins.
The list of your skins will now appear.
Double-click on skin you wish to apply to your Ultra Hal character.
As they say in Sheffield " jobs a good un!"
- This will also work with all other compatible files like ogg sound file.
load code file like .hap animations and .hap osi theams
And you can load text files and get Ultra how to read them lip sync...
Service were maniacal laugh ...Mohhahahaa! OH the power.....

So Years ago, i did some really bad skins for a game called quake 2, I was hoping that there would be a way to open the htr file and take the old skin out and replace it with a home made one? Is there any way at all to do that?. I think that there would have to be, but I can't find an editor that will open a hrt file. Also man thanks for all the help. I understand how to use the models much better.

Still debuging some for the hair haps that seem to corrupted when i try ed to add ponytail in to my hairstyle list ..die bugs die
