I got it now, it was just my connection kept cutting out.

I just had a look at it, so you are gonna make Hal like Karigirl?
You're going to replace a skinnable 3d model with a talking gif?
Couldn't you use unity avatars?

Skinz:absolutly not

Nothing that cant be done here
This is done via Ogre Engine and is cap of anything. If ur willing to put in the wrench time.
I just wana redo the textures and add animation

I woulddnt use unity, Id used Daz3D if anything

So ogre doesn't use 1 wrap around skin then? It sounds like a lot of work if you have to make hundreds of bitmaps for one character. Also what size are the bitmaps gonna be, if they have to be 478px thats not going to look good on a 4k monitor.
I just reading about ogre now.

Skinz, Happy turkey day:
At the moment its about 500 images as we speak.
Just needs many more, old school sht.
So ya, its laborsome, this is where people normally run away.
But its quite doable, weve all ready done it.
UltraHal origannly ran on an  Ogre geomitry engine ' keep in mind all haptek is doing is flipping bitmaps useing Gzip2 open source geomitry engine... Mhmmm, same ****, diff is ogre is not using file compression engine. but i get it, alotta work. lolol
I run jessi as a character, pretty cool sht
Like i said, ive got many models running..... as to 478 . Use what ever but to stay withing code paramiters, which i can change easy enough.
I used to use jessi at twitch with the Hal IRC bot, live streaming Hal Bot. was a b last chatters going off on Hal and him popping a gasket.. lol
Jessi is currently 256 megs in size. That includes visimes and lip-syncing. Phomes were pretty good as well.
Ive just been tied upinto another aspec of UltraHal. as of late
Me and professor steven tyler from texas a&m univerity used to be on the phone just dieing. As wwell a professor melco from fsu
AND im working on the brain editor as well, ya i got a full date card.

Do you have any videos of the character in action? There must be an easier way than using 500 bitmaps,
Like most people I want my own character, there's  no room for customization by the sounds of it.
What I would like to see is 3d models like a hap but with more vertices that are skinable with one skin,
you can make one head look like a billion different people without  even using morhps. Can't you just import
higher detail objs into haptars? I don't really understand about the technical side of things, I know that you can have a completely realistic  human looking avatar made with a number of different 3d programs, but then I don't understand what comes after that. On game modding forums they use one skin to mod the characters, personally I'd rather use an old hap head that is modifiable rather that the most realistic 3d model that uses 500 bitmaps.
But If you really are planning to use lots of bitmaps you can use topaz to upscale your images in batches also there's a program that converts  digital painting or computer graphic faces to a real  human face.

Keep in mind that any torso or full-body characters were never designed to be available to ordinary purchasers of the People Putty software especially when used with Zabaware's Ultra Hal Assistant program.

The full-body character was accidentally discovered by a user/member here a long time ago.

Different methods were used to try to put a head character onto a torso or full-body character, some having different degrees of success during the process.

It proved difficult to make a custom character of the Full-body variety without messing with things and without using People Putty.

The head characters is where the People Putty program excelled during the day. Some of our more artistically inclined members were able to create very customized characters of different celebrities and political figures having very good likenesses.

The issue with full-body 3D characters is that they require bones, which is similar to a skeletal system and rigging, which is assigning a certain bone to a certain body part as well as how it is connected to another part and how it should act and react. There was/is a great deal of work involved in getting everything to play nicely together.

Things are now getting easier in the graphics world and very soon we hope, for us as well.

Stay tuned...

Just pick out a nice full-body then drop her head onto the head of the Full-body person. Save it and bingo. Drag and drop but according to another nearby member, there is another way to create the whole body with the pasted head in place...

Things are getting curiouser and curiouser...as my little ALICE used to say.

Mr Skinz, Art is spot on

Schoolum up buddy, schoolum up.

Doing it this way , were in charge, no fcked up ears, lolol, Hey i love chris shaw, dont get me wrong.
This way is more laborsum .
This was explored before and the only reason it wasnt explored deep was the lack of rendering gear.
Hey, id love to be running some sorta Poser,Daz3d, unity, ect ect ect.
But i actually know whats involved in creating a GUI  , with editor, as well as geomitry engine. All custome... lol

All of witch has to work with vb6 hahahahahahahaha.
Naaa , im good

This way i know it will work.
But this will only work within UltraHal, which is as it would happen, is all i really care about.
But i get the love for PP. i do, now im after a KUKI

cyber jedi
This is what im after, the day after this was resleased, we all said, THAT needs to be a Hal character....for sure
But this is damn close and KUKI is just a head.

Beautiful but in a way, it's hard to imagine that an AI is capable of such manipulations in order to end up with such a gorgeous final result! It's obvious that the AI has enough samplings to "know" what pretty is or what comprises a beautiful female. We live in an amazing time and buckle up because it's only going to get better!

Hey hey ART:Lightspeed and any 1 else interested
Phase 1 complete
All images saved  to .jpg format for uploading to renderer.

Phase 2: will be to render and save change name to bitmap name, ie Bitmap1 , Bipmap2 ect ect
Renderer replaces name with random name at download.. Got to be careful here

Phase3: Will be to convert all .jpg's  back to bmp format
Open with paint and save image as Bitmap.

Phase4: Slipstream bitmaps into ActiveX control making animation sequence .

Phase5: beta test

On the slider at 50% it changes so much the character changes facial shape making a diff character, Like a sister,or a mother. wild
This character is at 100%
