cool, I'm not sure if many people tried this out, so I don't know how successful it was. Since then I've got textures onto the wigs okay.
If you do add a texture to a wig model then you'll need to use hi-res hair jpegs on your skin. ie, if you just paste a bit of hair that you cut out, then you'll probably find it turns out blocky. You need to reduce it's size so you have a higher res skin overall, then when the player maps it onto the model it will stretch it out over the hair model and it will look more realistic.
