If you watch "V" the new TV series on ABC starting Nov 3, keep in mind it's fiction.  
In the series FBI agent Erica Evans discovers that aliens have spent decades infiltrating human governments and are now in the final stages of their plan to take over the planet.

Wouldn't it be interesting at end of the series they announce it's all true?
