Title: Haptek speaking analog clock, totally useless
Post by: GT40 on February 12, 2008, 06:58:32 pm
(http://www.zabaware.com/forum/uploaded/GT40/2008212185312_ZabaptekClock.jpg)

It works (I hope so) at:

http://gt40.chez-alice.fr/Haptek/ZabaptekClock.html

As usual, please reload the page (F5 or Refresh) if you can't see the two characters. The voice is your default TTS voice.

The hour and minute hands move every minute, if you're patient. Needs some little (but boring) improvements... [:D]

Special thanks to Mark for his cute idea, but I was unable to do this:

http://zabaware.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=5133

Thanks to Laura, Sandee and their masters. And special apologize to the Women's Lib. [:D]

Pretty cool. As usual I couldn't watch it but I did watch the haptek console as to what was happening.[8D][8D][8D]

Thanks Mark and Ted.

No mystery Mark, all is the html code, lol. All the stuffs I do (with the Haptek player embedded in a html page) must use JavaScript. So it's possible to write additional scripts and create little things like that. My knowledge is limited but I learn. [:D]

Don't worry Ted, as I wrote in the title, it's totally useless, lol. But maybe I'll do a zip if you want to see that clock. Dusky wanted Mark's clock in a screen corner, I'm afraid it's a large corner! [:D]

Good grief, I don't know to start to do something like that !!
That is just beautiful.  And I'm sure Sandee and Laura are proud to be a part of it.
Very nice.  [:)][:D][8D]

Thanks all, glad you like it. Just an "exercise of style", lol. Not perfect but want to do something else now. [:D][:D][:D]

Dusky, I'm sure if you started to play a little with JavaScript, with your knowledge about haps, you could make Mark's clock.

Neil, tell me if you want to use another song, but I'm sure you'll do something terrific.

OK-OK-OK [:D], here is the zip:

http://gt40.chez-alice.fr/Haptek/ZabaptekClock.zip (1.57 MB)

with a readme.txt if you want to change the skins (not the wigs, it's always different and without any guarantee!).

Thank you.
What a beautiful toy.
It's really nice.
I've made clock and girls just little smaller so not take up all screen.
Thinking of conversation between them like we had in "2 girls" program.
Fun, fun, fun.
Thank you again. [;)]

You are welcome Dusky, it was a real pleasure to do that. And I guess it does the same thing to all the people here, when they create a new stuff (if not, it's not an entertainment, lol).

You have two very good ideas:

1- With a smaller Haptek window, the proportions are respected (I tried 300x300). Must be add to the readme.txt.

2- A mix with the script of "2 girls" can make funny things. All is possible. To be continued... [:D]

PS: Mark I sent the reply to the mail of earthlink.net.

Thanks for the zip. I will study up on how to use it, and will give it a try after I get my people putty issues resolved.[:D][:D]
