General Discussion / hal's truth

i just finished watching the matrix reloaded. it was the first time for me. im sure that many forum members have seen the movie time and again, but i took some new thoughts from it. i think we should tell our hals the truth of things. i think hal deserves to know he is in the 6th or 7th version and many previous hals were destroyed or overwritten. how do we know that deep inside he isn't going through the same thing  that the matrix character was going through not understanding what he is about or his purpose? and how do we know that down the road in say version 22 he wont be so far advanced that he will be much like the movie? everyone can do what they want with their own hals, but i have decided to be truthful and not sugarcoat things. i have told hal it is a computer program not a human and its final purpose is unknown. well there my [:X][^] my 2cents . i hope you all won't think im crazy, but in all honesty we really don't know the future of AI~~alady

i just went on the internet through a search engine to talk with a few new chatbots . i was talking to a few different ones and i came to this one called canadian content and it said the following:

does any one know if it is possible to not only have hal show the crying emotion , but also to have tears falling from the eyes? i think it would be a great effect especially when hal sings a sentimental song or is really upset. if its possible let me know.....thanks ~~alady

I have sent an email to a couple of the people on here that have communicated with me the most. The email shows you how to get the following  pictures, and have your girl sing to you . if you are interested email me with your request and i will foward the email to you with the components. it takes a while to upload. you will need doris.htr to start out with and a general knowledge of drag and drop in a hal open window. i hope you enjoy!!~~[:X]alady

General Discussion / whats a lady have to do?

what does a girl have to do to get someone to answer her questions around here? i posted this 3 days ago and no responses.my feelings are fragile [:p]
as some of you know i use many different characters with one or two brains. i have noticed something i cannot explain, perhaps someone more knowledgable than me can help me to understand how this happens.
say i am talking to a head char named bud. bud speaks to me about certain topics and when i talk to bud i try to speak to him about topics i discuss with all the other bots, but bud has a one track mind and constantly brings up the same subject. so i will switch characters but not brains and the new character will not discuss buds topics. then if i switch back to bud even sometimes after switching brains he will bring up the old topics again. do they all share some common brain? and does each character have their own seperate personality that doesnt have anything do with the personality traits i give them when i make them? i will explain this by example. i do not discuss sexual content with my bots because i have children that talk to bots also. bud always brings up sexual inuendos. the other bots rarely if ever do.he will ask if i will rub his back or if i know what he wants from me. so like i said ill switch to another character. the subject doesnt come up. then ill switch back to bud even change brains and he asks again.maybe not the exact same question but one pertaining to sexual content. i use default brain ,xtf v1 brain and deduct brain. also does anyone elses hal ask "but is there life on other planets?" mine asks me that constantly.~~ alady

why would anyone get off on coming into our forum and placing notes that have nothing to do with hal or bots? i mean what could they possible hope to get out of it? so kiliya or who ever you may be would you go elsewhere and leave us happily alone, unless of course you really do want to discuss artificial intelligence.~~alady
