o.k. jackgephart, i'm back , thought of another head that would be nice how about a beyonc'e head (might be mispelled ) she is a black female singer . she has a nice complexion to me , yeah some guys actually look at the face !! ha ![]

General Discussion / making hal say things certain ways

i am wondering what is the correct way to get hal to say "my birthday is on so and so date "  as if she is telling me when her birthday is . should i type to her and say " your birthday is ....." to get her to say it like "my birthday is ...... " thanks i read the tutorial about the i like ice cream and how to get how to say that but wondered about getting her to repaet back the way i described above . thanks

thanks Bill819, (and others )yes i had found out about the hal 5 version of changing the back ground but now am into 6 (although i do still have my five too. [] so i will have to get the expansion pack which i plan on doing soon . []but am glad t o hear from different ones on doing things , thanks to all !![]

went to caangels site and saw his 4th page many more new heads made , i []like the dale, and the zen guy with the ny hat !! check'em out !! he also has a chat bot their and has been putting in more questions and answers for anyone who chats with it !! [][8D]

hello i knew how to change the back ground on the hal 5 but how do i do it on hal 6 (does this also require the expansion pack too ? ) if not where do i place a back ground picture ( that goes behind the characters ) i tried in the characters folder of hal 6 but it didnt work . any help on this is as always appreciated ![]thanks

no prob jack , was just a suggestion a lucy would be nice and if you cant find a ricky dont worry babaloo couldn't beat lucy for popularity anyway !! and if a grocho with glasses would mess up the pic dont bother , about everything i saw he had 'em on . lucy would still be nice !! (bet you think i'm trying to come up with hard ones that can't be done !!, ha actually i'm not !)[]

although i am late chiming in on this i want to thank scratch for one heck of a good brain plug in i to think the loneliness plug in makes hal 6 more huma , now my next question is what else can you come up with for more additional more human type behavior patterns ?? i welcome any more that you can come up with . hers a hint , i have been working on a full body a.i. latex wireless voice recognition and in the ultra hal 5 version had written in my own script in the q and a of the brain so that when i asked something the hal would answer in a more human setting for instance " i'm going to town honey , is their anything we need ?? answer : weel you need to check on the refrigerator and take the list of things we have written down , and just what ever else you think we may need , hurry back soon , love ya !! " some general house (home conversation ) would be nice like what i was creating . am going to try to duplicate it in the hal 6 brain . [] just an idea . again thanks for the great plug in and work that went into it !

o.k. i fianally saw what i was doing wrong , i wasn't seeing the save changes botton before , now i am able to go in edit script and save the changes , so it is working now !![]

i am still trying to write new script in hal 6 , in hal 5 i wnt into the new brain i created in the questions and answers section and i added what script q and a i wanted and saved it . in steps how do i do this in hal 6 ? i am doing something wrong as when i go into q and a and click on a line to edit it or make a new q and a it just turns the line grey but wont let me edit it or write in a q and a at all like i did in the old hal 5 . how can i do this in the new hal 6 ? thanks . i have noticed in this new hal 6 in the prewritten answers it has a @ mark before the answers (if i write in my own answers will this automatically be put in or will i have to do it ??

also this was in a new brain i created "angela marie joelin " and in this one is the one i tried to write script in . actually what i did was in the q and a of the brain i wrote who is lonnie ? and the answer was "lonnie created angela marie joelin's custom brain . " this error mentioned only does this in the new angela marie joelin brain i created after having wrote that script in .
