how do i open a program not in database
« on: June 07, 2007, 06:01:30 pm »
I have been trying to make HAL open a non-standard program for this path
c:mpggmplayer.exe , but it says it cannot find the program in its database. How do i make HAL start non-standard programs and pass command line arguments?

Nikun: run gmp "C:songsdownloadsye tera mera milna.mp3"
jaa-n-a-maan: The program "GMP C : SONGS DOWNLOADS YE TERA MERA MILNAMP3" was not found in my database. Open winamp c:.

Nikun: execute gmp "C:songsdownloads<the song name (not disclosed here)>"
jaa-n-a-maan: The program "GMP C : SONGS DOWNLOADS <the song name (not disclosed here)>" was not found in my database. I researched a song along with its words.

Nikun: execute c:mpggmplayer.exe "C:songsdownloads<the song name (not disclosed here)>"
jaa-n-a-maan: I will now open this program. Open winamp c:.
<and nothing opens up>
Nikun: when i say open gmp then you say open c:mpggmplayer.exe
jaa-n-a-maan: Can I open a song.

I tried editing the halcommands in the brain editor to open the program directly, but no use either ..

Any help !
