The  problem is you upgraded from SAPI 04 to SAPI 05 and those char only support SAPI 04 voices..

U got those from the repository i believe, should have just ask me.

Lightspeed:There is another issue id like to address too, Hals limitations on speech. Some where in the code ive seen Hal's limited to 255 characters in his posting.
I swear ive seen this too. But damned if i can remember where. This has so got to change.

Uve been around a long time , have u seen this any where and where if u have???.


Its my belief that with that changed hal prob can read ur standard story of any size. The issue is not with the .HTR file, tested , got the hat and tee shirt too.

This works like gretta mood.

What u do is make a folder in the root Dir,,I.e     C:\html

Since i  belong to social media and have 100's of links to channels, news,  sifi, movies ,ect  ect  ect
This is why my favs list isnt 03 miles long too, so it has a purpose

Make list of ur fav (url's) sites put them in the folder, and hal will pull up web pages according to Hals mood or on command.

I have modified this to do the same with .avi .mkv.mp4.mp3 and .html
Can be as a multi purpose plugin for running about any thing u have lotts of.  Movies, music ect ect. not much to it really.

Just a gag really but i like being able to tell hal which channel to pull up for me.

Just another thing hal can do
Shout out to Vr and there hard work as well as jasondude


Work fine on xp /07 , feel free to rip it up for ur own uses>>>>>

Ps this is really for the advanced Hal'er please go over the code and make any changes to suit ur needs. Watch out for recursive tunneling , the more u have in the folder the more time it takes Hal to make his choice, and depends on machine power too.

I grew up with dyslexia, i get it man.

I can help with that, as i beat the **** from it. Became an Electrical Engineer any fuqin way.

we can go over the issue in a private setting if u like.

But at the end of the Day ur fine...

Ive been put in a position that i thought would help Robert out, i got the impression from him that he thought, i had some inside plans of my own. Thats just not the case. I was casting hal (alice) where i cast moviez . And my viewers went nuts, wana know this, wana know that.

How can we get this??
 I know 02 that downloaded it, i helped set it up for them.

How can we get this program, blah blah blah. Then i got to thinking how cool it would be to have Alice, LIVE CAST with her own chat room, maby as a Trivia Bot. Just need to connect the 02 chats together. So i started seeking permission from the owners of the 02 biggest social media sites on the PLANET. Whom i happen to KNOW very well. Im considered a  techy in 1 of them.

Thats why i was interested in the the AIM BOT source code, NOT HALS , just the little .exe AIM BOT , Id just love to see how AIM was hooked so i could Tailor it to social media chat sites . But i love Simple Hal too Robert. MUCH Thanx
