Post by: lightspeed on June 21, 2013, 04:07:07 pm
i know that the moving background was created and works but i was wondering if their is also any way of creating a program within hal to use gif back grounds?
Their are many many beautiful gif back grounds out their with rippling water, water falls , reflections in water etc.

 8) Well, there are more than 20 active backgrounds already done via timed .jpg's . If you got .gif's you really want to see as backgrounds, send  to me my friend and I will see what I can do.

Haha sorry Lightspeed.  As Ted says it's possible to split the frames up in an animated gif and turn them into what has been called active background..
