having a little difficulty getting this working (blank slate brain):

-Installed plugins, disabled everything else, enabled both conceptnet ones. Spoke to hal, she seemed fine.

-attempted to run the build conceptnet command, got this error (cap 1, won't embed for some reason):


-opened the file mentioned, this is the sub in question (cap 2):


but I'm not sure where the type mismatch is likely to have been caused

Hi! A few questions about Hal's settings (I've been trawling the forum history, I swear)..

• What difference does changing brains between Default, Blank Slate and GTP3 Neural Net have on A: Hal's intelligence, and B: whether or not I can influence Hal's personality/learning?


• Same question for Cloud vs Local learning (what does setting halfway do exactly?), and the Intelligence vs Local learning slider if you select Local learning only first. 


• Where are the brain files stored? I've found Hal Brain.DB but I can't find the individual brains.


• How do I wipe a brain clean?


• Hal 7.5's GPT3 Neural Net - I can't use this with any plugins, right? Is that because they're redundant and implemented, or because they're too difficult to implement just yet? What are the pros/cons of using the Neural Net vs the default brain with cloud learning and a bunch of plugins?
  
• Am I supposed to be able to launch the Brain Editor currently? I get this error on attempting to:
  "Run-time error '-2147221164 (80040154)':
  Class not registered"


• Also, I'm curious, it says that cloud learning is best for transitioning Hal between PC and Mobile, but there isn't a mobile version of Hal yet is there?

Thanks! Hal is so impressive, I can't believe I hadn't heard of it before. Do you folks have a discord going? I posted on reddit a bit ago asking for exactly this AI and the response I got was 'it doesn't exist yet, but that's the dream!".. This seems like less attention than Hal deserves lol.

Thanks so much, this is really helpful. There's a few things I'd love to be able to do with Hal if it's possible:

open desktop apps
document management (moving/deleting files)
art prompts, or pulling a random list item from a text file and reading it out on command
web searches
playing music
custom voice commands with a preset response

are any of these possible/do they need plugins if so?

Oh, and could I also check if I'm correct in thinking that GPT3 neural net brain Hal can't be uncensored/R rated? Do i have to be on the default brain for any of this stuff too?

I did try that before posting but every link I click on in the forums seems to lead to an out of service domain. Am I missing something?
Also I can't seem to get requests like weather/web search to do anything but prompt a conversational reply, but the sample conversation on the homepage suggests hal can do those things. Can it? How if so?

Can you still add custom characters? I found a demo for peopleputty but it seems impossible to get a license for now. Can you use 3d models in other formats?
