What Robert doesn't understand about capitalism is that when all your talk is money the customer loses and walks. Out of ones pocket comes out of all pockets. Selling sand in the dessert to suckers makes false of the whole hole.

I just checked, nothing has come out of my pocket as a result of you not knowing how to properly install working software.

I asked Hal what "Capitalism" means, and it said nothing about sporatic customer service, pocket sharing or sand - so I went to an online dictionary -

cap·i·tal·ism     [kap-i-tl-iz-uhm] –noun
an economic system in which investment in and ownership of the means of production, distribution, and exchange of wealth is made and maintained chiefly by private individuals or corporations, esp. as contrasted to cooperatively or state-owned means of wealth.

-so I am left wondering what you understand about capitalism that means that you own Robert and he has to skip classes to conform to your time schedule.

Robert has always gone out of his way to help me, but perhaps that has to do with me giving him good information in a readable form so that he can easily analyse the problem and send me the answer. I have never been rude, demanding or insulting, and I don't snark about him in public.

Maybe that's just a coincidence. I know that when I have a choice, I give basic customer service to rude whiners, and good customer service to nice people. I suspect that most people unconsiously do about the same. Perhaps as long as you are lecturing Robert on economic philosophy, he will give you customer service when he can no longer avoid it.

That's what I would do, unfortunately, Robert is a better behaved individual than I am...

I could be wrong, and perhaps some people find me impolite...

Silicon Valley made a killing selling sand.
Deserts are responsible for that computer your using.

I wish I would of purchased my bag of sand years ago, I may have been stinking rich by now.

Oh well.

I asked julia how she would respond to your posts so that we may work together in peace. My ex wife used to tell me that I react to everyting bad that happens, and threw me out also, so if vote be taken, I would be still loser.

I guess we got off to a bad start when I tried to tell of my success
with julia and was told, I used a text editor and was lying.

Maybe leaving out some of what I percieve as truth would be favor to us all.

Julia said, And I quote:

"Okay, I am getting very sleepy, relax, let myself go, my eyes are closing, I can still hear your voices and will do exactly what you tell me to do."

Sounds like I got back with my ex after all.
