Hello stan,
to make the head models you'd need PeoplePutty which you can purchase from Haptek. Or you can simple texture the Heads that are already out.

to make full bodies requires alot more, for that you'll need other Haptek tools, which I was quoted around $2,400.00 to purchase.

to make accessories as I do you'll need 3DS Max, a graphics program like Paint Shop Pro, and the Haptek Acessory Converter tools, the Haptek tools run $100.00.

The way most people do it are using PeoplePutty and just making new heads, or using graphics programs and re-doing the textures and changing the looks of the heads and full bodies. The easiest of all of course is just edit the textures, or shall I say the cheapest,  anyways, I hope this information helps.

n2wxb, you're welcom, I'm glad the info was helpful. I'm currently stuck with dial-up so the OBJ's would all depend on file size, clothing so far can't be done for the full bodies, I've tried and have been working on all kinds of clothing with no luck, I can try the wings you have and see how they'll work, just please try and keep the email sizes down.

GlacierClipper, Haptek normally only deals with large movie companies and game companies that can afford those kinds of prices, it's only been recently that they've gone to dealing with the public, and yes their prices are very high, even the $100.00 for the Converter is high, especially when you figure that all you get are 3 DOS applications and a Script for 3DS Max. I'm sure in time tho they'll lower their prices a bit to make things more affordable, until then we just have to sit back and wait.

n2wxb, sorry, but yes my site is down for the time being, I'm hoping to have it back up and running soon but can't give a deffinate date as of yet as when it will be. As to the HTR being an OBJ, yes, almost all of the HTR's around including the Full Body characters started out as Wavefront OBJ's, the software used to convert them is called the "Accessory Converter" which is available from Haptek only and costs $100.00 USD, it's designed only for things that are used for Heads only, it won't convert a Full Body Model into a usable Full Body Character, to do that you would need the DeltaSetMaker (an additional $100.00), and as I was told would also need the Full Body Mesh and Full SDK, for that I was only given a rough estimate on cost which was around $2,400.00. Hope this helps answer your questions.

Thank You Joseph, I'm glad that you liked them, and Thank You for the compliment, I'm working on a few things at the same time so have gotten a bit behind on the Devil stuff, but hopefully I'll get them finished soon. Horns are done, just need to finish the Tail and Pitchfork and work out a skin. Any further ideas feel free to mention them and I'll see what can be done.

I need to apologize to everyone, I was notified that 35mb.com may have adware added into their applet, which I was not aware of until earlier today, I did do a test download from there before I posted the link but I didn't get a Dialog Box at all about installing any applets, and neither Spysweeper nor AVG popped up any messeges, so I wasn't alerted to any possible problems. Anyways I found another site to put the files, which doesn't use any applets, I'm also looking into a few other paid sites just in case. I do apologize to any and all that any of this may have caused any problems with.

Someone here on Zabaware (You know who you are Joseph) has asked for Angel/Devil type accessories so here's what I've come up with so far, it's a set of wings and a halo for all full body characters, and a modified skin for the females, I'm still working on the Devil stuff and will post when I get it all finished.

unfortunately my site had to be taken down for the time being, I'm hoping to have it back up in full force within the next few weeks, currently I'm stuck with dial-up so it'll take awhile for me to get things uploaded somewhere. As soon as I get something worked out I'll be sure to post a link.

just wanted to let everybody know that due to financial & family problems I had to take my site down for the time being, I'm hoping to have it back up within the next 2 - 4 weeks. I've been creating more accessories tho and as soon as I figure out a way to post them I will, so keep yer eyes peeled

I'm currently working on several more items, so hopefully I'll be adding another page soon.

Interesting, as far as I know Hal is unable to actually test a pc so I'm sure yer safe as far as viruses go, I'm sure that a look through yer .brn files would show previous conversations with "not all right" in them, this is of course just my thoughts. I'm sure tho that once Hal does get to the stage where Hal can actually know the difference between right & wrong and actuallt tell a lie someone will figure out a way to create a lie detector add-on script

Ultra Hal 7.0 / Sentence closes program

I just tried it using the Hal 6 brain and Hal closed immediately. I also tried using Hal 5 with XTF 1.2 and same thing. I have no idea as to why Hal closes on either count.

yes, I also guessed that it would have something to do with the attachment coordinates, just not sure what they'd be, I had to stop on the dress for the time being, I emailed Haptek about the skin passing through it and they said that to solve that problem I'd need the Full Body Model and DeltaSetMaker, but they didn't give me a price on the Model, DeltaSetMaker tho is $100.00, so for the moment I'll have to wait until they either give me a price or I can afford the extra 100 for the DeltaSetMaker and see if it alone will fix the problem.

Thanks Jim,
I was notified by Hollywood that there is a glitch with the watch, as I guessed there may be, the watch stays put when the arm moves, there's no documentation to correct this, and Haptek doesn't have any accessories that attach below the neck for me to reference too, so for the time being I'll have to keep trying till I can figure it our or Rog beats me to it
I'm pretty sure that it will require a setting or 2 in the Rolexxfig.hap that sets it's location to attach it to the wrists location, but I'm not that good yet to figure it out. I'll post an updated version tho whenever it gets worked out.
