Is there a place on this Zabbaware site where I can download more scripts or knowledge for UltraHal, I haven't found any files other then by browsing in these forums, which is kindof a pain.
Also, has anyone used any other chatterbot-type programs like UltraHal?
It doesn't seem like there hasn't been any official development or support for UltraHal for awhile, so I downloaded the verbot program http://www.verbots.com/ and I must say, it's pretty cool. The Verbot is a newer product, so they don't have as large a community as the UltraHal does, but it was easy to find the download area on their forums for new scripts and characters. I haven't bought the $10 standard version yet, and wanted to see if anyone else had tried it.

One of the more interesting programs I've seen recently is the Proteus engine from Artificial Ingenuity (http://"http://artificialingenuity.com/"), which combines a hard-coded database with multiple response set capability (like ALICE) with a fuzzy logic system. It doesn't have easy plug-in scripts like Verbots, but there are a couple of large database files available in their forum. It has TTS, but no animation for the GUI. There are several free applications, and paid versions, as well. There's also a killer AI word-recognition program I'd like to see incorporated into every AI I know of, lol. As long as the first and last letter are correct, it can identify any word in its database.
