Title: Hal Speak To Me

When I type in speech to Hal........Like "hello Hal..How are you"...How do I get a voice response from Hal?......I don't see anything to click that will make him respond??It's probably something simple I'm overlooking...Thanks..Jdueme@citlink.net

Hi Steve and welcome to the forum!

Start Hal and select Options.
Click on the Speech tab.
Make sure to check the Use Speech Synthesis (Hal Speaks) box.
Select a voice from the list to the right.
Click Apply then OK.

You might have to restart Hal but it should
work fine regardless whether you have the shareware or
paid version.

Make sure your volume settings are adjusted.
