Title: Long overdue
Post by: cyberjedi on December 19, 2025, 02:04:35 pm
Guys/Gals

I do think its past time Hal has his own OS.
Im thinking win10 H22/Or ReactOS
This would be as an installer as such where when you installed win10, Hal would as part of win10 . Or ReactOS
An attempt to build a real time Javas
Hal installed with all his goodies an up grades,x10 for real smart home tech, vision the whole 09 yards.
Then changed into a OS installer(ISO)
LLM for LOCAL LLM models.
Be nice if Microsoft gave official permission for such.....

It would be the only one of its kind.......
As a standalone (air gap'ed) truly secure..... one machine dedicated to Hal. With his own cat6 and zwave/x10
Like ive all ways said, unplug your router and show me what you got

Challenge #1  Hals input(voice systems) Hals input needs to be comparable to phones current.....
You generally
cannot use an Amazon Echo (Alexa) as a direct microphone for your PC because it's designed as a standalone device, not a PC peripheral, ((((((((((but you can use your PC's built-in mic with the Alexa for PC app for voice commands))))))))))), or use your Echo as a Bluetooth speaker for PC audio, though mic functionality remains limited. For a true PC mic, use the built-in mic or a dedicated USB mic, but leverage Alexa for PC (on supported Dell models or via alternative installs) for hands-free voice control on your computer

Challenge #2 LLM Local support(completed)

Challenge #3 Vision support (complete)

1 I don't think you need permission from MS people been making iso's and docker images of windows of all flavors for ages
2 the Idea is awesome 2x thumbsup for thinking of it.
