Title: Outlook - not the express
Post by: Tiedchi on May 05, 2005, 08:46:40 pm
Hi.
My little sweetie wants to open Outlook Express when I ask her to open Outlook. I do not use the Express version of Outlook. I am using Outlook 2003. Where can I go to make this change in Hal's code?

Thanks

Hal creates a bat file for all you regular programs. Look for it and edit the file. It should say Outlook Express. Just change it to Outlook.

In the category of easier said than done:

If only I could find the BAT file!

I have done every search I know. THere is no BAT file in my Zabaware directory.

I'll continue the search.

Hi Tiedchi.

Look in the file called shortcut.dat
You can use a text editor to view it.
This is where HALs shortcut information is.
HAL uses .UHP and .DAT and .BRN files for most of its functioning.

The shortcut.dat is a data file.
This is where you might find shortcut to outlook.

Note!
Always keep the same format in any file.

Back the file up before you alter any file.
Doing this will always keep you smiling.
