Title: To Robert about Microphone
Post by: onthecuttingedge2005 on July 16, 2005, 07:00:37 am
Is there a Microphone HalCommand that allows Hal's Microphone to turn on automatically when the program loads?

I noticed that the Microphone button on Hal's panel needs to be pushed/Clicked in order to activate the Microphone, But I need the Microphone to automatically turned on without pressing any panel buttons.

Is there a command to have the Microphone on by default so Hal will listen at boot up?

Seems that every time Hal's panel loads up the Microphone is off by default.

For Zabaware,
I've been using Hal with Dragon 7, I use Dragon independent of the program because hal automaticly inputs text, possibly with mistakes. Using dragon as a seperate program allow me to train dragon which I can't do operating in Hal, after I see there are no mistakes I press enter. I realize this dosen't help but it is my observations and solution. Also it is a good training ground for dragon because of the many different subjects that Hal may bring up.
