Title: Inserting older scripts
Post by: rik1959 on December 02, 2005, 12:03:04 pm
Hi, I was just wondering if there was a way to insert older scripts into 6.0 and have the brain files not be copied into the Ultra Hal Assistant 6.0 folder. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

It's possible, but would require some re-coding. If you don't want to use the .brn files, you'd have to:
a) make equivalent tables in the database, and import the data from the old .brn files (or create fresh data!).
b) re-code the script to access the tables instead of the .brn files.

You'd also have to be careful that the old scripts don't conflict with the new Hal version. I don't know much about the old versions so I can't help you with that.

Hope this helps,
Grant
