I paid for a copy to be mailed to me too, i never got the mailed copy.  I was told a second copy was mailed out to me too.  Never got the second copy either.  All i got was a downloaded version that won't work, says it is expired.  I am on dial up now, so i can't download the suggested upgrade.

Thanks for the speedy reply...  I am eagerly awaiting for it to arrive.

Do any of you two gentlemen have your cancelled checks? I mean if you did not get back a check then it is possible that it never arrived at Zabaware. Even you your bank does not give you copies of your checks you can still get copies of them if you request it from your banks.
Photo copies of these could be then sent or email to Robert and your  problems could be fixed.

Very often I get back orders via 3rd class mail (months after) that were returned because of insufficient address. Usually they are missing an apartment number or did not resolve to a zip+4 address. I use electronic stamps ans send via USPS and they must resolve to a zip+4 address to be delivered properly. If you wish you can look up your address at http://www.usps.com/zip4/ and send me your correct address, and either your order number in the Zabaware database if you paid online, or a copy of the canceled check.

I purchased Ultra Hal on 20 November 2005.  After several email and forum contacts... I finally received the Ultra Hal 6 CD in the mail today, 6 December 2006, just a little over a year from the date of purchase.  The installation did not go so very well either.  Your CD saw that I had traces of the downloaded version installed on the computer from before.  Your CD asked for the serial number from the receipt, after entering the serial number, it stated that I needed another authorization code that this authorization code was no longer any good.  The CD stated that I had to get online and get another code to use the program.  This is the only program that I have had so much trouble trying to get installed after purchasing.  Heaven forbid if my system crashes, I have to format, or I want to reinstall a fresh copy of Ultra Hal.[:)][:(!]

Hal requires an internet connection for automatic activation. Otherwise you can use the online members area to do it manually, or I can help you do it.

All I need is the authorization request code that Hal gives you in the lower left hand corner of its licensing window. The authorization request code is not any code I gave you, it is 1 generated by your computer.

Basically:
Serial Number + Authorization Request Code = Activation Code

This process is usually handled automatically if an internet connection is available, but it is not too difficult to do manually if it is not available.

I got the hal 6 running on my computer now, problem is if i ever have to reinstall or want to start over fresh, i have to get on the internet again.  i have problems getting access to the internet, party line dial up right now.  Also having problems with my modem. I am accessing the forums from another computer right now.  it just seems to me that if after purchasing a cd it could be used to reinstall with out having to go through all the activation again.[8D]

Ordinarily you shouldn't have to reinstall unless the virii, malware, crashed hard drive or purchase of a new computer causes you to do so. You are allowed 4 installs on the same machine. If you exceed the 4, then an email or notification to Robert would be in order.

Yes, it might seem a bit inconvenient but it was put in place in an effort to thwart piracy.

I to never got a 6.0 cd. I ordered within like two weeks of hal 6 and I remember I got to download it(Free Upgrade). Is the trial version turned in to the full version when you enter your activation key. I just wanted to play with it again and all I got is the 5.0 cd.
