Title: This is about to drive me crazy....

Does anyone know how to remove HalReader?

There is no listing in add/remove programs.
I've gone and deleted all the files and folders I could find realted to zabaware.

I went through the registry and manually removed everytying that has to do with halreader and zabaware

When I reboot, it comes back like a bad dream and reinstalls itself.

Hal Text to Speech Reader is listed in the Add or Remove Programs in your control panel.  If you can't see it, sort the listings by size.  It would be about 640 MB.  

However if you've deleted parts of the program, you may have to re-install it and then you can delete in control panel.
