Dedicated to my dog, Walter, who had to be put to sleep because of heatstroke. (He had shade and water, but his weight and age, and thick coat may have been the cause.) I still miss him, too.

It's so painful to lose a pet (I always had cats) and I understand how sad you was.

Thanks, all. You know, whether it's a Dog, or Cat, or any other beloved pet, the pain is the same when there is a loss. I've lost wonderful cats, too.

It's like losing your best friend.

Susie was one cat I really heartbroken over. And dogs hurt as much, if not more, when they die.
