How do I get Hal agent to read a web page to me?

as far as I understand it, Hal can't "read" the way your thinking "par examplea"  Hal cannot 'look' at a web page and read what he interperts as text.  As a matter of fact he's not even aware of anything outside of his own little window (ask him he'll tell you)

But to get to your answer.  You need to select the text you want hal to read, copy the text (which will place the text onto the windows clipboard) and copy that text into the dictation pad.  

Yes, it seems like a bit of trouble, but if you need to go over a lot of text it still useful.

If there's a better way M.  I'd love to know about it myself.

Go out to one of those freeware sites and find a html to txt. converter (a.k.a.)a text stripper. download the page you want read and open the stripper. Find the file and push strip! It saves the text file in the location of your choosing. Open read a document from right click on Hal. locate and open the file and push read! The Hal I got is limited to a 16k filesize, but you can chop the document up to do the whole thing
