John,

First, Welcome to the forum!

Why not send Robert an email detailing your problem instead of posting on an open forum. Click on Members at top right, look
for Robert Medeksza.

In the meantime I'll offer the following suggestions:

While there are several thing one can do in cases like make sure you have performed recent virus, trojan, malware scans.

Clean up and temporary files, cookies, etc.

Do a registry scan / clean and make sure your TURN OFF any antivirus programs during Hals install.

Check that your firewall (if you have one) will allow communications to Zabaware.

If your registry was corrupt I doubt if it was the fault of the Hal software.

Uninstall and try the above recommendations.

Good luck!

In addition to what Art said, try a download manager (make sure it's malware free). Sometimes a download will complete too soon, and it's not a complete file. Just a thought.
