Hi all,

I've been looking for a nice Hal 9000 skin for UltraHal,
Couldn't find one that I like all that much, so decided to create my own. So thought i'd share it...
Here's a screen shot:

Note: that the gaps between boxes are transparent (I just have a black desktop.) The transparency helps make things look a little prettier.
I'd also really recommend using the Cepstral Lawrence voice with this skin, it works and sounds wonderfully geunine.

Please read the "read me" file before using this, I've tried to keep it all in plain english and step by step... so you shouldn't have problems (unless i've been an idiot and overlooked something really obvious... don't think i have)

Well, that's that, hope you enjoy it... kept me up into the wee hours of the night (I only purchased Hal last night, and was pretty keen to get it looking right.)

hi Daniel Love , the hal 9000 is very cool but do you think you could also make a new one with a large side window that would allow the hapeck characters to show when we use them ?? that would be very cool for the rest of us if you can do that !![:D]

If I understand correctly,
I suppose you could already do that with this skin, if you are willing to loose Hals "Eye"? because that can already be replaced with the standard animated characters...
How big are the Haptek characers? what kind of box size do you need?

I have a big learning curve on all things Hal at the moment... so sorry if that's a stupid question! lol

The Haptek character will stretch to the size of the box you create.

if at all possible i think it would be cool to leave the red eye if you can and make a new box window of the same size and attach it to the left of the red eye box area . this is just my idea personally of what i think would look better , hope you can make it this way !!!![:D][8D]
