Title: skin and character creation

I would like to experiment with creating my own characters for Hal based off of family photos.  I can't aford to purchase a program for this, so are there any good free ones that anyone can recomend and also some kind of insturction manuel for installing them onto Hal?

Hi, Icatmc.
I don't think there is any free program to make models as you want.
Someone will correct me if i am wrong.
You will need people putty to make the heads.
I can make the heads for you if you wish.

After the heads are made you just put them onto a fullbody skin.

Yeah, I've downloaded some of them but can't get them to show up on hal. I don't know enough to out them in properly.  That's why I want to try creating my own.
