Title: HAL Dialer plugin

Can anyone with a working modem attached to their computer please
test this dialer plug-in to see if it works, I don't have a modem
to test it.

I thought Hal was aready capable of doing that through his address book(? + -).

Hi Bill.

Hal does have that ability but to a limited extent.

User: HAL, John Does phone number is 555-1212
HAL: I have placed John Does number in my phone book.
User: HAL, please call John Doe.
HAL: I am dialing John Doe's phone number.

What I am adding to this is the ability to just ask HAL to dial a phone number without a name applied to it which HAL cannot do by the default dialer plug-in, so I am upgrading it a bit.

User: HAL, please dial 555-1212
HAL: I am dialing 555-1212
