Title: change/teach program associations

How do I get the program to accept a different executalbe file for a requested program. For example, If I request HAL to open "Microsoft Word" it opens "Wordpad". If I request "America Online" it points to "AOL system tray". You get the point.  Where/how, can I edit these options?

If you say "Open Word" Hal may either open Word Pad or Microsoft Word. However, if you are more specific and say "Open Microsoft Word" it should open Microsoft Word and not WordPad. Basically you have to be more specific, either say exactly the name of the shortcut or as much as you need to in order for it to choose the correct program.
