I've looked at the technical aspects of integrating Hal with Wikipedia, and it won't work unless Hal's main code was modified. The UltraHal function which is the only code area we have access to can only process a Maximum of 3 sentances. We would need to have access to the keyboard input routine to redirect output from Wikipedia into Hal's input stream and call UltraHal function as many times as needed to process the Wikipedia's output stream.
I will continue to research this but the technical issues are very formidable.

I downloaded the file, and if nothing else, will cut and paste 'Facts' to Hal using the 'Do You Know' plugin.
It is kind of spoon-feeding, but at least it will give us new things to talk about.
I can see you put considerable effort into this.
I hope someone can find a better way of just importing information into Hal.
Maybe some new module for the Brain Editor?
